Grab bar size on CD16 Cruiser

Does anyone happen to know the tube diameter on the rear bulkhead and cabintop handles on the CD16?

I plan to do some fishing this weekend and won't have a chance to get to the boat before then to measure. I am going to try and put a couple of rod holders on the handles and wanted to make sure I get the right size.

Has anyone tried mounting rod holders there? Eventually I will come up with a more suitable installation but I have the day off Friday and it looks like a perfect fishing day.

I put one on each side for rod storage. On our 2009 16C, the tubes are 1". The holders we have work on both 7/8" and 1" tubes. I believe this is pretty standard. You may want to consider a little dab of blue (medium) Loc-Tite on the threads so they stay tight.
