For all of you sage brats out there who have been using radar for 40 years or for those who have GPS and Radar overlaid, this will be an old hat DUH......
Some others may find this example of going the separate radar and GPS route and interfacing the two to navigate to waypoints of interest. Apologies for the photo quality but a tow was bearing down on me as I took photos of the entire scene with the Radar GPS and the Flint River dead ahead, then a close up of the radar and GPS screens.

The GPS shows a red trace to the Waypoint set in NAV mode and the radar shows the corresponding lollipop encircling the entrance to the FLINT river waypoint as in intersects the Tennessee.
This seems like an extremely useful feature to me and I use it often.
