I was looking around last night on the web for a larger hatch for the v-berth and was only finding one price no matter where I bought it from. There is so little profit that all the outlets have the same price. Well last night I found a guy on eBay called. Greatlakescaptian. Looks to like this guy has bought up several boat companies supplies as they were going out of business. He has a lot of stuff that we could all use on our boats. I bought two hatches that go for $98 everywhere else for $36 each. I also bought two connector for my canvas top for $16 each when others want $60 each. This guy has over 8000 items. lights steering parts and whole systems, stoves, etc. I spent a hour just looking around and did not make a dent in this listings.

So if you are looking for something for the boat I would look here first. I have nothing to do with this guy other then I like his site and have bought several things from him.

Thanks for the info.

I was not able to locate "Greatlakescaptian" -- is it possible that it is "Greatlakesskipper"?

yes, I was going from memory, which is not a good idea as of late. did yoe find something you needed?

Thanks -

I still have (and will always have) many items left to purchase -- looks like he has a treasure of items -- I'll have to look through the list.

Have a nice evening.

I have bought stuff from greatlakesskipper for my boat, and had a great experience. They post tons of stuff on ebay, as well as their own online site.

I'll second Mr. Gurnsey's motion. I've bought several items from GreatLakesSkipper and had a good experience all around.

I just wish I lived close enough to actually see their facility- I'll bet it's a cool treasure trove!
