going to comox need info for June 2012 nineinches

Dan and I are going to Nanaimo on the 11,12 June up to Comox on the 13th June, need to know where to camp and launch the boat. If you live up there or can lend some info we are all ears..... enlighten us.... :?: :P

I want hot shower ! Nice campground..... main requirement for me....

jan & dan would really like info if anyone can help us out....!

Haven't heard from you in a long time. Are you planning to launch in the U.S. and cruise up to Nanaimo or launch in the Nanaimo area?

Don't know about Comox, other than they have a nice launch ramp.

We stayed at the Thunderbird camp ground on the north side of Campbell River, right on the entrance to Seymour narrows and Johnston Strait. Great view, hot showers, next to shopping mall. You can go to Gold River (by trailer), Pt McNeil, or south to Comox from there.

Really enjoyed our stay. Once we got a campsite right next to the road and could see the traffic going up and down the channel from the cockpit of Journey On: tugs, fishing boats cruise ships and the little folk.
