Has anyone cruised this area? Jo and I are trying to plan a trip that we intend to take as soon as the temps take care of most of the bugs. It'll likely be a 3 day weekend trip, but Georgetown is only about 4 hours away (trailering time)...and we might launch a bit further inland.
I can't find much info online, but it appears that the Great Pee Dee can be navigated for at least 70 miles inland. I've kayaked the Lumber/Little Pee Dee, and love the seclusion and natural beauty. From what I have been able to gather...this river gets fairly secluded after only a few miles inland.
