Garmin Update

Found out the answer. I got on Garmin's website and "chatted" with them online.

I have your 1040sx and 741xs both 2017. How do I get it to show the channel marker "NUMBERS" on the chart? It shows the channel markers but not the "NUMBERS". Thanks, Ken

To see the numbers the cursor must be over the buoy.

meaning, why they didn't make it a setting you could turn on and off I don't know. They just made it like the way it is now instead of a setting to turn on and off.

While doublechecking for any new updates on my Garmin GPSMAP's 541 and 840, I see that the 840 is now also considered a Legacy product. The 541 has been listed as Legacy product for some time. How time flies... (However, the GMR18HD is still listed in the newer electronics software bundle.)
