I have a Furuno chart card for my 1650 machine that went bonkers. The local dealer said to bring in the card and the machine and they would send it to Furuno, me thinks bung that as the Furuno US HQ is just across the county, I'll take it there. I droped it off this morning and got called back this afternoon to come pick up my stuff. They updated the software in the machine and tested & replaced the chart card...no charge.
What really impressed me was that out of this building they deal with bjilion dollar customers and yet they treat some smuck off the street like they where their only customer. The receptionist told me this morning to have a seat and she would call somebody up, I didn't even have time to pick up a magazine, and they had some good ones, before a guy was there with a clipboard. Same story when I came back to pick the stuff up, I may go back tomorrow just to read the magazines.
