Learn about Coastal Explorer software by Rosepoint Navigation. I have no financial interest in this company. I do use this software and like it a lot just an FYI
ONLINE CLASS! – MAY 22nd
Sit in the comfort of your own home and participate in our first-ever online training class. The class follows the same format as our regular class; all you'll need is an internet connection, phone line, and a computer to follow along. We'll be teaching the class live in front of a small audience at our office and broadcasting it over the Internet. You'll be able to hear what we say and see what we're showing on the computer screen. Please RSVP as space is limited to 250 participants. The class will be live between 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Pacific Daylight Time) on May 22nd. Please e-mail sales@rosepointnav.com to RSVP and get login instructions.
C-MAP CHART SUPPORT - UPDATE
As you may know Coastal Explorer now supports C-MAP by Jeppesen vector cartography. The C-MAP charts include excellent chart coverage for a given region, photos and diagrams of ports and marinas, land elevation information, as well as tides and tidal stream data. This means they're an ideal source of information for boaters headed outside of the United States, or boaters who desire complete vector coverage for areas not yet covered by NOAA vector charts, such as the Intracoastal Waterway. We've changed how the charts are purchased and delivered; it's all done from within Coastal Explorer. Using the Chart Store (in the Chart Portfolio), they're now purchased and downloaded directly via an internet connection. This means that you'll be able to get the charts immediately without having to wait for a disc in the mail.
Coastal Explorer customers may install and use the C-MAP MAX charts on up to three computers. For more information visit www.coastalexplorer.net
