For those of you on an internet, air card connection, you might want to try Pandoraradio.com. No commercials...quick registration....and free. Basically, you create your own radio station by giving them a name of an artist, like Gordon Lightfoot. Wah-lah....up comes Gordy along with James Taylor, Croce, etc. Various artists within that genre.

Free and fun.

Enjoy!

I have been using Pandora for over a year now . it is a great way to listen to the type of music you want.

I love Pandora radio! It's great to mix up the types of music and the various artists. I stuck Sousa in there between Odetta and Elvis so Dotty, Lizzie, and I have to march around the house every so often.

Just for the the info of Canadian C-Brats..... this radio station is not available to people outside the good ol' USA !!!

I just tried and got a cannot connect notice too.

It sounds like this is a recent development and they are working on fixing it. Seems like the government always wants to screw up a good thing !!! The people listed in the URL you gave, may have joined before the regulation change.

Following is a partial quote from the Pandora site:
Dear Pandora Visitor,
We are deeply, deeply sorry to say that due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S. We will continue to work diligently to realize the vision of a truly global Pandora, but for the time being we are required to restrict its use. We are very sad to have to do this, but there is no other alternative.

Maybe if you connect through an ISP in the US you could circumvent this?

Pandora is available as a free iPhone app :thup

The URL (Pandora.com) does recognize that my ISP address is not from the USA. Unfortunately, my computer skills are VERY limited.... so to connect through a US provider is not in my vocabulary..... I will have to pass on this free radio.

Try this IP masking website and see if it helps.
