It might useful if people share their food related items esp recipes, tips, secrets, good places to eat, cooking utensils tips, local market shops, etc in this thread

Martin, Guess that gets me off the hook here, besides, not sure making sandwiches counts as cooking. I just do simple, no fridge required eating on board. Mostly looking at minimal packaging and and ease of eating.

Same here. The only time I'm boating and have fancy food is at a C-Brats gathering.

I have a vacuum bagger that I use a lot for meals. I probably have a week's worth of food on board right now. Obviously not haute cuisine, but I'm good to go. Pilot bread, granola, powdered milk, tuna in a pouch, etc. Any fancy stuff, like a head of cabbage, is picked up just prior to shoving off as a special treat.

I more than make up for any deprivations at sea by elaborate meals at home.
