Where is the appropriate spot to mount our Burgee on a 16 Angler?

Most burgees trend to be flown from either the foremost point on the bow rail or, less often, from an antenna.

We'll run it on the bow. And at night I'll roll it up and secure it with a rubber band or clip. When the winds kick up...that thing makes noise.

Thanks all, the bow rail it is.

I don't have a bow rail mount, but i like the one Gregg posted, with a removable shaft, because I do use my boat cover occasionally, and it could go over the "bulb" on the rail.

The standard position (from what I remember in Chapman's) is from a standard on the bow rail or bow pulpit. The secondary is from an antenna support. That is where I have available and have flown a secondary flag.
