FYI...
On Feb. 9, 10, & 11, the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue will have a fly fishing show. The website is flyfishingshow.com. I know our one and only C-Brat Robbi on Sea Run is an avid flyfisher.
 
Hi Jon, I am just sitting here tying flies and catching up on the C-Brat site. I agree the show in Bellevue is a good one. There is also a fly fishing show in Port Townsend on Feb 3rd at the fairgrounds. I think that I may go up for that one. It won't be the same as Bellevue, but a nice place to visit in the winter. Hi Chromer, I see you over on WFF. I think the best time is in November-December. They are out there now, but some have started to go up streams to spawn. I was fishing for resident silvers the other day and hooked a 17" near the west side of the Tacoma Narrows. In the way south, areas that have chum runs, the fishing gets good when the chum fry start their out migration. Cutties love to feed on these little guys. That should be going on about now.
By the way, I like your boat! :lol: I would love to meet up with you some time and compare the 19's handling with the E-tech compared to the Suzuki. No tug of wars however!!! Robbi

Right now your Suzuki would pull me E-Tech under. I have a throttle position sensor that Bombardier told
my mechanics to replace. The symptom was not being able to pull back to neutral. That being said,
I would like to trailer into your neck of the woods once that is resolved.

Last week, I fished off the beach at Tacoma Narrows. Some native silvers were being caught, but I needed about
5 more feet of distance to reach them. Leland Miyawaki was out there with his cigar. It was interesting to
watch him work the beach.
 
Chromer, Leland is a wonder. He can out cast me by about 100 feet! I fished today at Victor and used his popper for a bit. I have never had a cutt hook-up with one, just heart stopping follows. On about the 4th cast I saw a big fish giving chase- big "bow wave", and then he took the hook and the fight was on. He won after about a minute. It was a cutt and one of the biggest I have ever hooked. Some fun!
