Nice! I like how their eyes are centered directly behind their outthrust talons, directly in front for maximum fish grabbing effectiveness, like a streamlined, feathered knife. I've got some video I took of a bald eagle taking a fish. In reviewing it frame by frame, I saw that the eagle uses its downturned tail as a "trigger" - when that hits the water, the eagle then knows it is time to thrust his talons forward for the strike. Makes sense, especially considering how quick the whole activity is and how clear the water is. C.W.
