I am about through the new to me boat "to do list". Today I changed the impeller and my list of thirty items is nearing termination. I have found a wealth on information on this site and have found the technical portion very helpful as I have worked to bring the 2006 25' up to standard.
I know the systems well now and how things work. All the factory holes are annulused in epoxy. I think I have everything mechanical jam up and jelly tight. The trailer is rebuilt with new brakes, lights, bunks and tires. I have serviced the 150 Yamaha myself and the valves are in the center of the spec. The timing belt looks pristine and I have a spare on the boat.
We want to do a three day trip on the Tennessee River as our shake down trial.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a marina near Chattanooga to leave the trailer and tow vehicle overnight.?
Our long term bucket list for this boat is the inside passage and the great loop.
I still need radar and a kicker but it is time to get it wet.
