First cruise with C-Brats

Last year we had the pleasure of meeting Jim B. "Wild Blue" while cruising on Flaming Gorge in Utah. Jim thought we were another C-Dory, but after closer inspection he referred to our boat as a "cousin" boat. We found Jim to be a super person and we enjoyed our short visit with him. He posted a picture of our boat and described our meeting in his June 10, 2007 post.
He also gave us encouragement in joining C-Brats.

We finally got up nerve to join today and we are looking forward to the Lake Powell trip, and hopefully many more.

P.S. I guess we are no longer cousins since the 23 Venture is now a C-Dory!

Hi George and Janice,

Nice to see you post here. Yeah, we're all one big happy family. :hug :hug2 You've got a great boat and will find the folks on the "Grand Slam" tour to be a friendly, welcoming bunch. Wish we could join y'all at Lake Powell.

Have fun and welcome aboard as an official posting member. :D

Best wishes,
Jim B.

George and Janice, Welcome to the C-Brats. WOW, We have kids that live in BC (Baker City which used to be Baker). Next time we come over maybe we'll drag the boat with us and we can have a CGBT at Exit 301 :)
Enjoy, and Come on over, The PNW is beautiful,

Hi Jim,

Sorry to hear you won't be on the Lake Powell cruise. We were looking forward to seeing you again, and meeting Joan. Have enjoyed your reports and fabulous photos.

This will be a new learning experience for us. We have always taken our camper and only did short day cruises. Guess we have to get our feet wet sometime.

Regards,
George

SleepyC,

Small world! Looking forward to meeting you either here or Sequim. We were over there a couple of years ago, before we bought our boat. You are right that is beautiful country. Maybe we can join you next year for the Sequim gathering.
