Finding a small part

Hi
CD25, Center window, adjustable rod 1 or 2 holding up the window is now missing the pin that connects the rod to the window bracket.

Does anyone have any idea where to find a replacement? West Marine had no idea and not in the catalog unless I wanted to replace the whole rod assembly.

Not even sure what to call this pin.

Thanks so much for help
Paul

Any good machine shop can make a pin like that--problem is that you have to have the dimensions. For similar instances, I have used welding rod (without flux)
It is possible that a SS roll pin is a replacement. If you can get micrometer measurements of the diameter--should be easy to find the correct pin. Some different years have had different support "arms" for the opening front window.

Paul, any good machinists supply ahould have drill rod in a variety of dimensions. Larger communities with machinist shops would have one. Check McMaster-Carr for mail order choices if you are a long ways from town.

Roll-pins are standard commercial items. If you've lost one, use a drill bit to find the diameter, a tape measure to find the length and then look in the Granger or McMasters-Carr catalog to find the replacement. Also try BoltDepot.com

If it's just a pin, find the measurements, as above and then look in the catalogues.

You need a stainless replacement and could search for it on the internet as well as the above catalogues.
