Fall in Fairbanks, boat's in the barn

You take great pics, Dan. I love the fall colors. We just don't get that down here.

Bummer about your boating season being over. Hope you guys have a mild winter.

And when I look at a moose, my mouth waters...nothing better!

Amen-ta-that... :smilep makes me think of my trips to Manly Hot Springs through the 80's and 90's!

Still on-the-water for me, hope to see some deer :smilep

Short season! I have two high school seniors up there this weekend on a recruiting trip, UAF just started up a womens swim program. I am looking forward to their report. If they decide to go to UAF, I'll have three up there and I'll have to come up to visit! The problem is that the swim season does not match the boating season!

I love the fall in Alaska. We go all out for the holidays and I just love the feeling of winter approaching. We have had a good long fall with the leaves turning too, not like the birch trees where my folks live in Knik but still nice this year.

We boat all year round down here in the banana belt, great pics.
