FacDory Guys magazine cover photo

I've been trying to find the photo from the magazine cover a few years back with the C-Dory 22 jumping a big wave. It was on a magazine cover, but I can't remember the name. I'm not guessing the right words for Google or the C-Brat site, or maybe the photo's not even online.

Any hints?

Thanks for the link. I'll save it. I was trying to show the picture to a friend at work. I didn't realize we had so many of those photos on the site.

-edit- I didn't see the offer of the computer file before sending this at first. If it's easy to send the file, I'd like to have it. jeff.lastofka@gmail.com or PM or whatever's easy.

Knowing what I now know, I'd love to see pic 14. That would be when the boat lands on it's flat hull AFTER it's gone over the wave. I notice that there is no pic of the boat landing.

We've done a few of those, and it's exciting when the glass rattles, Judy expresses her displeasure (at 103 dB,) and all the gimballed instruments sag.

That is a sturdy boat.

Marty, you are right on with that photo. It was from "Northwest Yachting" November 2008, shot by Neil Rabinowitz, who does all the covers for that magazine. I still have that copy. That same issue also had the full page ad for C-Dory, with a photo of Viking Lady, the 25 with the bowsprit on it. That page was sponsored by our friends at Kitsap Marine and Master Marine.

And no, it is not for sale ......yet. It's my retirement fund :lol:
