ez load trailer wheel bearings?

Want to get a spare just in case.
How does one determine the correct size wheel bearing to purchase w/o taking wheel off?
Tried to get the bearing grease buddy off and use one of the bearings to compare to, but it would not budge and did not want to destroy it in the process.

If you have a trailer supply store near you just take your trailer model number and they will be able to fix you up. Six Robblees is a good place to start. they had everthing I needed to do a complete brake and bearing job on mine
 
I have had very good customer service from EZ Loader themselves. Give them the model and year of your trailer and they should be able to help, alternatively, your EZ Loader brakes are probably by Kodiak, if you give Kodiak the year and model of your trailer they should be able to give you the spindle size. Don't forget to buy a spare rear seal as well, if you replace the inner bearing you'll need a new rear seal.

I second Barry's recommendation. Have your trailer serial number ready when you call. That helps with the details.
 
To remove bearing buddies or dust caps jack the wheel off the ground and spin the wheel while tapping the top edge of the bearing buddy or dust cap with a 3 pound hammer keep doing so it walks out evenly. Works for me

You should be able to get the exact replacement bearings, seals.. etc that came
on your EZ Loader Trailer.

Call Bob Bishop at EZ Loader: Ph: 1-800-398-5623 Ext: 210

Give him the VIN # which is located on the EZ Loader Info Sticker on the
tongue of your trailer (unless somebody removed it) and he should be able
to tell you all of the part numbers of everything on your trailer when it was
built.

I have ordered parts (including wheel bearing assemblies, brake parts and
replacement LED light assemblies and I have had no problems whatsoever.
