Patty here. Thanks for the compliments on the ribs. Here's the recipe for those who requested it---measurements are approximate!!
1 can tomato soup
2-3 T. vinegar
2-3 T. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 C. brown sugar
1 T. mustard (any type)
healthy dash of allspice and cinnamon
salt and pepper
Mix all ingredients in a large pot and bring to the boil. Add the ribs (one large package) and simmer, covered, 3-4 hours until the ribs are very tender.
I use boneless country style ribs but bone-in work, too. I lay them on a broiler pan and roast them at 400 degrees for 30-60 minutes to render the fat, then add them to the pot. I doubled everything for the pot I brought to the gathering.
