I've got some fluids I would like to use for this spring's maintenance. The issue: I don't do my own maintenance every single year, so some of the lubricants I have on hand are 4 or 5 years old. Do they degrade? Can I still use them?

Here's what I'm intending to use:
Power trim/steering fluid
Gearcase lube oil
Grease

Thanks!

Excellent...thanks! Looks like I'm OK this year, and I'll buy new next year.

Ummm, these products started out a few hundred million years old.
Not sure that an extra year or two really means much.

Ya, Denny but methinks the additives didn't come from the dinosaur age. That may be the age concern... Along with the OLM wanting to sell more "L". L=Lubricant!
