I am baffled. Replace the rocker switch to the wipers today. All hooked up ok, no issues and wipers work. But.......there is an in-line fuse that comes off the back of the switch panel and goes to the wipers that keeps blowing. However, everything seems to be working, I can't find anything that isn't. If I take the fuse out, the wipers still work. All other electrical devices work on the boat too. I am at a loss as to what is shorted and why everything still works eventhough the fuse is blown.
 
a high amp draw in a motor circuit can be caused by either a short or a extra mechanical load..

it could be that your fuse is a little light on the amp rating & if your windows are dry & dirty the added mechanical draw on the motor ups the amp draw...I'd try the wipers on a wet window and if all is well, up the amp rating on the fuse a smidge

Could this be a fuse to a bilge pump?

If you wish, I have some meters if we can get together maybe we can
figure it out.

Well, do they park? There's a power feed that's always hot to the park switch inside the wipers. If they park, you're gonna have to trace the wire.

Good advice from B~C!

Betcha' Boris is right: Fuse in in the hot feed to the park circuit.

And B~C is right again, dry load is too heavy for undersized park circuit fuse.

It's gotta be the park switch. I was frustrated with the issue and didn't notice that the wipers aren't parking right, they just stop wherever I turn off the switch. I went out this morning after reading and noticed.

Question, do I really need to fix if I can live with that, and two, is it fixable or do the motors have to be replaced?
 
It may have blown because it was dry and put too heavy a load on the motor/fuze. Try just replacing it and if it still blows, try a bigger fuze.

The park circuit is inside the motor housing and is just made up of brass/bronze contacts. It keeps the motor running until the contacts open up at the right parking place....Not easy to get to but if you can live without it, it's fine. Just get good at stopping it at the right place!

I would take care of the park circuit fuse. Mine blew too, and I was caught in some really rough water with waves breaking over the front of the boat. With my hands full timing the waves, trying to time the wipers so that they stop in the right place was an additional, and unnecessary, distraction.
