Dock space

It looks as though a number of C-Dorys are appearing in Florida, presumably in search of warmer weather but so far with fairly disappointing results! For any itinerant C-Brats transiting the west coast and wanting a stopover in Punta Gorda we'd be glad to offer the use of a currently unoccupied dock at our home off Alligator Creek. It's a bit of a hike up Charlotte Harbor from the ICW but some folks do make it. Water and electricity at the dock, can offer use of a shower, and would be glad to provide transportation for shopping, etc. Anyone interested can PM for info.

I would say that is a very kind and generous offer. Thanks from up on the other corner. It may be several years before we could take advantage, but would love to try sometime. Thank you,

Harvey

That is Very Nice of you yall
We will be leaving NC for Fl. around the Jan. 8th, heading to Fort Myers Beach, we will have our boat with us.
Maybe we can get to geather down there and do a little crusing.

Thanks for the offer! We may take you up on it in January or February!

Also, in the same vein, my slip at Skyline is currently unoccupied and will be until April, so if anyone would like to get some in winter cruising let me know. You can park your trailer at my house.

Warren,

Thanks too, for your offer, again, mighty kind. Would hope that we might get a chance to try an over night trip, but have to get away from work for a bit. Will keep it in mind, thanks again for a kind offer.

Mark.....I (hope) to be there just after Thanksgiving....(at Dr. Bob's)... we are now in Mobile and heading for Pensacola in a few minutes....
I am in need of repair too....... One of my Yamaha 40's has had the tach go dead.... but the motor seems to run better than it usually does.....both my motors have never run well....and almost always die on transition....I am positive I corrected all the vacuum (fuel) leaks.... and that has helped...but they are not running well....

Spike: Man that is a great offer. Thanks for posting that. I have always wanted to enjoy the waters in your area. Know that you and any of the other C-Brats have docks outside of Nashville a bit in Mt. Juliet on the Cumberland River system, about MM 236 area. Also, the Clarksville City Dock is now operational and I drive down there now and then just to see if folks doing portions of the Great Loop taking side trips need a lift to town or what not. Great cruising in our area this time of year due to many of the folks simply being fair weather boaters who do not know the joy of an enclosed cabin boat....and heaters. Life is good!!

I would also offer free dock space to any C-Brat or Tugnut. Small lake but good trout and kokanee fishing. Montana is a beautiful place to idle awhile. About 15 lakes in a small area. Forget about it until about June 1st unless you have an ice boat. If just passing through with a camper, I have all the hookups for you. Also you have permission to park for the night in the Starlite /Radio shack parking lot in Libby, Montana.

Ps Flathead Lake south of Kalispell is a 50 mile long natural lake that is magnificent. Might be a great place for a gathering.
