dejavu all over again

20 or so years ago I had the wonderful pleasure of spending 2 weeks in Alaska (Heaven on Earth I must say). While in Whittier I took pictures of several boats that were so different from any of the boats I was used to seeing in Georgia and Florida. Some were beautiful yet rugged and some (the aluminum ones) were just rugged looking and ready for pretty much anything that might arise. Well, last evening while sorting through "stuff" the Admiral came across my Alaska photo album and there it was..... a beautiful C-Dory on the ramp. The beautiful lines had caught my eye 2 decades ago and here I am once again. Just shows that timeless beauty is just that.

Well it's not such a great picture so much as it is an ordinary picture taken in a moment that now has a somewhat seminal meaning. It's a paper photo that I might be able to photograph and post. Who know, maybe someone might recognize themselves or the boat in it.

I'll study-up on how to post a photo and see what I can come up with.
