decal ?

so i just got my replacement decal from c dory. they are the two part decal with web address at the bottom. I just wanted to make sure before i install that the gold goes down first then the blue ? It looks that way but did not want to mess them up so figured i would check here before installing tomorrow. thanks no instructions were included.

Can't tell you about the sequence, but when I installed new decals several years ago (from a different former C-Dory manufacturer), I cut off the web address and phone numbers before installing the decals.

It was simpler, looked better, and now my boat is not a source of outdated links!

I am almost 100% that gold goes first. and I am going to do the same and cut the web address off the bottom, as all I wanted was the c dory part.
 
Sounds like a different decal than I got. Of course mine is about 5 years old now. I would put down which ever is going to be the larger "footprint" and then put the other on top of that, I think. But There is probably a place on line to find that out and they know better than I do. Good Luck -- make it pretty :lol:

nope thats the same decal only now you lay the gold first then overlay onto it.. same outcome a little more work. was really surprised it didn't show up like your did. oh well its on and looks good. I have sent 2 pm's for an album on here but never hear anything back...
 
To whom did you send them? Note the correct English from an engineer! :mrgreen:
