All,
I have a Garmin 378 GPS unit. This is one of the smaller units that is marketed for both cars and boats. It came preloaded with maps of the inland lakes (where I do most of my boating) and I have added bluecharts for the Texas coast.
The waypoint icons that Garmin includes in its menu seem very lacking. There is a way to import custom waypoint icons and I have seen files on the web where people have created their own waypoint symbols.
My question is whether anyone has experience with creating and importing waypoint icons and if anyone is aware of a particularly good source?
