Cumberland River Fall 2009

We look forward to making the trip with you guys. I have not made reservations at the docks yet. If you still have my number give me a call. If not please send a PM.

Hey Gang!
Sorry, I will not be able to make this one. Fly out to Seatle on Tuesday 13Oct to go to Stanwood and stay some time with SENSEI and family, and, go to Oak Harbor to help complete some work on the Heads Up Rozy build I have going on. Then, road trip back cross country...and will not be back home by yall's trip.. Terry of LAST DANCE will be traveling with me...and, Roger of SENSEI may also make the road trip back....which of course would more than likely end up in a few days on the river once we get home...but, it will not match your dates....and, today, no way we can nail down any return dates ...just yet.

Yall have a great trip and know I will be following you via the site here.
Will let Momma Byrd know you are in the area....and who knows... she may even jump on board and go. She keeps her bags ready!!

Hi Jeff.

I was sure I still had your number. I think I had home and cell, but apparently my filing system is a little lacking since I cannot seem to find either one.

The dock numbers are below for anyone who needs them. I will send you a PM with my phone numbers. If you do the same, I will put them in a better place this time.

Glad you are able to make it.

Patrick - enjoy the trip out West. Maybe we can catch up another time.

Hey Rob!
What time of day are ya'll planning to launch @ Lone Branch on Saturday, Oct. 17th? Do we have a final head count? Lokkin' foward to the cruise!
Mike

Hi Mike,

We are planning to put in at Lone Branch at 10AM Saturday.

As far as I know, the Brigners and Colemans will go the whole way. The Byrds will go from Lone Branch to Nashville and then turn back. The Morrisons will meet us in Clarksville and travel with us back to Lone Branch, where they will probably continue on.

See you Saturday.

Rob

Is Cumberland River Fall cruise alway around 3 or 4 week of October? We are working on a plan for next fall 2010 for a trip up Tenn-Tom to Knoxville and Nashville. It would be great to be able to meet up with you guys then.

Jim - hope it works out that you can make it. Let us know.

Volsman - we planned the dates around Fall break at school. The last organized trip I am aware of was in Spring of 2007. We did a solo Tennessee River trip in Fall of 2008. That is as long as we have had our boat, so I am not much of a historian.

Rob

Ok, we're good, got the reservations. Now to get the boat ready
It sounds like there is still room at the marina's if anyone wants to join in the trip. Not roughing it too bad with a shore power plug every night
See ya

Are we there yet???? I have Vodka (bloody marys in the am and sundowners in the pm), beer and Fritoes. It's only a three day trip right?
maybe I better get some Carolans Irish Cream and coffee too.

Jeff looks like a fun cruise -- thanks for sharing your photos.

Curious as to the manufacturer of the larger vessel tied off behind you in the Clarksville dock photo.

Rob and Karen,

Sounds like a great cruise. We would like to join you next time. Time frame didn't work this time.

What happened to cause the tow of Life of Riley?

Harper

Harper,

The marina called Wednesday and said that the high pressure fuel pump had locked up, and that they had ordered a new one under warranty. I am hoping that they will call today to let me know that it is fixed.
