If one considers what I call a walleye type boat, a Vee hull 16/17 foot or so like Lund or Crestliner or the Tracker Targa with canvas up that would afford about as much protection to the occupants as the C-Dory cabin in a 16 foot Angler model, I'd like to hear comments on effects of wind.
In one circumstance I might be trying to hold a position over a crappie bed on man made impoundment,
in another I may be wanting to troll following original riverbed channel or some other variable direction structure.
In a strong crosswind, will one boat be harder to keep on track than another? One trying to maintain position, the other trying to maintain a variable course at slow speed?
