Crazy tank upgrade.... Any Suggestions

My 22 Ang. 1982 flat bottom. needs new fuel tanks.
I was think of this RDS tank and setting a bait tank ontop.

Over kill yes. But has anyone used or done this before.

I could sure use some guidance be for I spend the money on this experiment.

Range is important, but safty first.

Too much weight in the rear of the boat. Probably not a certified marine tank. Consider side saddle tanks in addition to the two under the transom box.
I had a 1983 CD just like your for 26 yrs. so I know the boat.

Nice volume, but wrong shape. I agree with Jack and others on other threads, Saddle tanks under the gunnel and as far forward as you can get them for better weight distribution. I have a friend with one of those on his truck. Works great there, not sure it would work in the marine environment.

By the way, that tank is not intended for gasoline, as indicated in the advertisement.
