Continuing to Make Rookie Mistakes

Well, I finally got the Comfortably Numb in last night...this is the latest I have gotten in over the past four springs. After getting underway and finding myself in the middle of the lake, the engine revved up slightly and then stopped. I had the three year maintenance done, and had taken on a fresh load of fuel...it turns out you really do need to switch on the fuel tanks!

If not turning the fuel supply valve to the "open" position is your only "mistake", you should not punish yourself! Now if the fuel tanks were "empty", this would be another situation altogether!
