Considering the C-Ranger, but....

Diane P,

I, too, welcome you to the site, and second what Sensei said.

You should be able to ask any questions you want, and get some real answers from Ranger owners.

Unfortunately, some of our members may have lost sight of our motto, "Just Be Nice".

DB&P:

I have now looked at the Crosby extensively, it seems well built and stout to me. If anything, less top heavy than a Nordic, though accomodations are smaller (and not as well laid out IMO) although I do like the access out either side of the pilothouse. Much better than the Nordic (non existant on the Ranger (a negative to me), an appears to be a safer exit as well. I would not be afraid of that boat in a reasonable blow, (nor the others).

I to have been lurking around for a few weeks. As a sailor I have the same questions about the tugs as DP&B. Stability is important. I have been caught in some nasty weather in a sailboat ( not by choice ), so I think asking a question about stability is a legit concern when your buying a new boat.
I spoke to Ranger Jeff today at the factory about that very concern on the 21 ft Tug. He was very helpful.
What is the experience that some of you owners have had with the 21?

Thanks in advance.
Ken
