Checkout this 1986 22' angler for sale

That about 80 hours a year, close to average use. If the hull is sound and the OB compressions check out it should be worth that. It is on a tandem trailer. The electronics, if they function, are basic, but useful. I would have a mechanic check out the OB and a survey of the hull and transom. for sure.

Yes its probably a good deal just due to supply and demand. Boats like this rarely come up for any cheaper. It would be easy to get in over your head with a brand new 4 stroke motor, new electronics and wiring. If thtas the plan than it might make sense to wait for one already done up the way you want it. To run it like this though, it's probably a fine boat.
 
I bought the boat ended up paying $12,000. Came with all the original paperwork from throughout the years, down Riggers, 2 20 gallon saddle tanks. Pretty much ready to take out. It's my first c dory and I jumped on it after missing out on a few that sold within hours of them being posted, they bring a PREMIUM in the Pacific northwest I guess. Repower is in the near future maybe this winter
 
Congrats, I really like your boat btw. The classics look great in that bright red and yours seems to be well cared for. They bring a premium in the PNW, but they also are in high demand even on my side of the country. Everyone loves these things.

Speaking of high demand I had a deposit on this boat within 30 mins of it being posted, when I got to the dealer the salesman's desk had post it notes with names and numbers all trying to buy this c-dory. Pretty cool they even knocked a grand off for me knowing they coulda got full asking
