Changing Spark Plugs on a 2004 Honda 90

I attempted to install new plugs in the good old Honda this weekend and my normal socket wrenches don't fit into the spark plug well. Does anyone know what size socket I need to change out the current NGK plugs?

Do you have the standard set of tools that came with the motor? Mine doesn't fit too well either so I just use the tool kit to remove it.

Don't forget that these are aluminum blocks. You have to use anti-seize on the threads before replacing them.

Thanks. I don't have an 18MM, but I do still have the original tool kit. I will try that first, and then look for the correct socket to add to my tool box.

The inventory of the BF-90 Tool Kit?? I found it in the PDF HONDA 75/90 HP Owners Manual, on page 70; but there is not a notation of the spark plug socket wrench size. Thanks for the info. on the 18mm socket size.

I checked my inventory and realized this tool kit is an option to be purchased from the dealer. I bought 2 engines and .... on kit.
like Steve, I best get a deep 18mm plug socket for my wrench. Thanks for the question, Steve.
