Has anyone any experience with T-Mobile as a cell phone provider here in the PNW. A relative is starting a job with T-Mobile and we have an opportunity for almost free cellphone contracts but they would be of little use if there is no coverage.

Thanks.

Barry,

I had T-Mob for a long time. Did not work in the house but was ok between the greenhouse and the propane tank at the top of the garden :-)

Seriously, It was not bad most places.

We have had it for years, has gotten much better. We have 3 bars at the house now days, used to be in 1 corner of the house, but a neighbor with Verizon used to stand in the street in front of our house to get service. I had problems in a few areas in the San Juan especially on the south side of Orcas Island. Been having issues with cusomer service these days after we bought new phones, it has taken 5 months to correct al the added services that they signed us up for eventhough we signed paperwork to decline the extras, Due to this we will change to Verizon on renewal.

Merv,
That link has nothing to do with cell phone coverage. But was enjoyable.

Merv, what a delightful way to start my day! Thanks!

I was with T-Mobile before I went to Verizon. In the PNW it was fine, but a month without any coverage while in Florida convinced me to switch. Aren't you guys planning to venture beyond the PNW now that you are in full retirement mode?
