Do you think $7500 is a reasonable price for its year and a non-running motor?
Nope.
First off, there's no way I'd buy this boat without taking it out first - which obviously isn't possible with a dead engine.
Reason being, my hunch is it's tail heavy with no cabin. Add to that, the 60HP outboard is going to weigh more than the typical 40-50HP put on a Cruiser/Angler, making the problem even worse - I'm guessing it's squirrelly as hell with that much power and weight aft.
While it's possible the power/balance is acceptable, it's simply too big of an unknown without a water test - nobody here has ever reported on such a model.
Now, assuming one has satisfied the concern above, and has rock-solid diagnosis from a trusted mechanic on the outboard - I've no idea what the thing is worth, but I'd still not buy it. As anyone who's had a 16 Cruiser/Angler can tell you, the cabin takes significant spray when anything more than minor chop is encountered. Without the cabin, that's water in your face...no thanks.
My guess is, there's a reason so few were sold. But hey...if you're the gambling type, and want something unique - go fer it! There's nothing we like better around here than an odd ball...
