CD-22 Anyone ever add a hot shower or marine head

A year or so ago someone was selling a 22 that they had modified extensively and installed a marina toilet in the v-berth entry area and had a holding tank under the v-berth, if I remember correctly. I believe that they modified boats as a hobby/business. Anyhow, it appeared to be nicely done.

I have used Sun Showers extensively over the years and they are great! We have often secured a full one on the cabin roof on the overturned inflatable or between the handrails. At the end of the day, especially while at anchor, it is a real pleasure to hang the shower from the radar arch and shower in the cockpit after a swim.

Since we're talking about alternatives to a "built in" shower: I like to use a garden sprayer (aka pesticide sprayer). You pump them up by hand and then they are pressurized.

To make the water warm/hot, I either just add some water heated on the stove, or if it's sunny (especially if you get a sprayer that's a dark color), just sitting in the sun can heat it up plenty. I've put on a longer hose and cut down the wand to a handier size. It's so handy to have pressurized water in the cockpit that I found I've just kept one "available" at all times.
