Cancellation of 18th Annual Delta and Bay Extravaganza

Due to COVID-19 we are hereby cancelling the Extravaganza from Wednesday, April 29th to Sunday, May 3rd, 2020. It is unfortunate but necessary that we do so.

We could not make any marina reservations during our Extravaganza dates, most restaurants would be closed, and social distancing rules would still be in effect. We wanted to tell everyone as soon as we could make a "go, no go", determination.

Thank you all for your interest in attending. We did receive marina fees from all ten vessels planning to attend. We thank you for meeting these responsibilities. These checks have not been cashed and they all will be returned to everyone who sent them in.

We will try to do another Extravaganza next year from May 5th through 9th, 2021. Mark your calendars.

In the meantime lets all focus on the Catalina Offshore Adventure for 2020 (August 9 to 15). If you have not signed up for this event, please do so. Hopefully we will get to do the event this year, but who knows. The Catalina trip is only four months away.

Stay healthy.

Jim, So sorry you are having to cancel and break the tradition. I think it is a good choice, considering the safety for all. The good news is that this might give me a chance to get in on the next one.

Take care, stay safe, stay well, and keep on pounding as time and situations allow.

Jim- thank you for all that you do. Sorry the trip has to be canceled, but it was expected.

I am now working from home- performing building inspections for the city via remote video chat-- now if only I can get wifi on the boat!!

Slainte,

Hi Jim, Thank you for all of your efforts with getting this together - all the effort and none of the fun :( We have always looked forward to this cruise and most importantly hanging out with some great people.
To all of our C-Brats kin we give you send all of you our best wishes and good health.

Completely understandable considering the circumstances. Lets hope for smoother weather ahead. The most important thing is for all of you to keep safe! There is no way any of us want to be in the hospital in these times or be a danger to our loved ones.
