Canadian Thanksgiving

Enjoy, relax and be thankful. Happy Thanksgiving to our friends on the north side of of the line.
My first year in Canada we moved up after the Canadian Thanksgiving and before the USA one. I think my Mom snuck a turkey on the USA day, and we enjoyed it with Jap oranges, then drove down to the breakwater in Victoria and looked across the water to the Olympic mountains. If I remember right we had some new friends over for that dinner. He was US and she was Canadian.
Really good memories from on Vancouver Island.

HI Terry and Valerie, we are back from a great overnighter to Sucia Island. My first (of what I hope will now be many) tip to the San Juans. What spectacular weather this Thanksgiving weekend! Customs clearance was straightforward in both Roche Harbor and in Sidney marina. Sucia Island is a gem!
