I have never stayed over nite on my 16 ft. c-dory and thinking of using a camp trailer at least some of the time. I have disabilty where I can only walk 100 yds. +or- with 2 canes. Also use wheelchair, Crawl on hands and knees, scoot on but, slide on fat belly, etc. If anyone knows a good site to look up camp grounds that maybe usefull for the area you may be useing??? Thanks Doug Gray

Hi Doug, welcome to the C-Brats!!

A simple google search of "Lake Powell Campgrounds" yields a wealth of info including the fact that apparently there is a campground at each and every marina. Not sure how many there are but here are a couple and a link to a visitors guide.

"Campgrounds at Lake Powell
You'll love tent camping at Lake Powell. Wahweap, Bullfrog and Halls Crossing Marinas all feature campgrounds for tent camping. And each campground is in easy access to all the food, fun and adventure awaiting you at the respective marinas. "

I would think if they have tent camping at a marina, they would surely allow one to sleep on his/her boat. Tell them it's a fiberglass tent, and a good looking one at that!!

Sounds like a fun trip, I think there's going to be a CBGT at Lake Powell on April 20-30, look at the button at the top of the page for event signups. Wish I were closer, that's a pretty part of the world!!

The discussion about the gathering is HERE
