I bought a used 22 C dory It did not have a key for the cabin, The local lock smith did not have a blank for that type of lock. The boat is a 2006 serial # CD 022507D606. I contacted Triton but no help. Any ideas?
Thanks for your help in advance

I left the key to my 2002 Cruiser in Lake Michigan last year. I took the lockset to a local locksmith shop. They found a motorcycle blank that they could shorten and alter to work. I don't know what blank it was. They did it in lesss than a half hour and charged me less than $20. I later found an original spare key and it still works!
Your post made me realize I only have one key for my used boat. My boat has the all glass door (2006), and the lock is Trioving. Search for Ilco TO6 (that's an oh in the middle, not a zero). I found them for $8 each.
I had a similar problem but chose put on a stainless hasp and padlock. I through bolted the hasp and catch and the padlock is one of a pack of 3 "same key" stainless Masterlocks.
I have one lock on the door, one that secures the anchor to the deck and one on my utility shed at home (where my boat stuff is). 1 key=bliss.
I suppose that could be an option if I didn't have key and access to blanks. Although... Since the door is all glass, I don't think I'd feel comfortable attaching a lock like that.
I have same boat, same year, had same problem... called Diamond Sea Glaze. They got a set of blank keys to me in 5 days, $10. per blank... ouch but I now have spares. PM me if you have questions. Good Luck
Thanks. I ordered mine today from ekeyblanks.com, the Ilco TO6 replacement for Trioving keys. $8.21 each and shipping was about $3. I'd hate to think how much it would have cost to have a locksmith track down and order them for me.
