What's the best / safest routing to take from Friday Harbor to Seattle? Any recomendations for marinas along the way?

When are you going? If it's a flat day like this Wednesday, Go to Cattle Pass, plot a straight course for Admiralty Inlet and leave early!

Otherwise, you may want to do the "Inside Passage" behind Whidbey Island. Thatcher Pass to Guemes Channel to Swinomish Channel and on through LaConner. LaConner and Langley are nice stops on that route with lots of shops and restaurants.

Stay away from Coupeville this time of year. :smileo
The Westerlys blow across the island and raise hell with
that shallow bay. :sad
If you need a stop in that area, use the marina at Oak Harbor.
Just mind the channel markers. :crook
