C-Dory in Anchorage no more!!!

Yesterday I was in Alaska Mining & Diving the C-Dory dealer in Anchorage. I asked a salesman about C-Dorys and he said they were not going to handle them anymore. They had one new 2009 22' Cruiser left and that was all. I saw others in their yard but they were used or in for service.
They have switched over to aluminum boats, Harborcraft and Smokercraft.
Just FYI.........
 
No love loss here, this leaves the door open for a dealer who actually has customer service and won’t stick you with overly inflated parts/boat prices.
 
It looks like this is no great loss. I do hope someone else picks up the C-Dory line although in this economy it will be tough.
Maybe it is better to buy directly from the factory as we all did back in the 80's.
