Here's the LINK to order. Minimum order: 25. Cost from $13-$24, depending on difficulty of embroidery. Figure $15-$22 with shipping.

I'll get a price commitment Monday, so we'll know what the final price is.

I've got one of these, brand new, in front of me, and it's first class quality and beautiful! Will get a photo when the camera comes home from the lake.

So far, Marty wants one, and flagold two.

tom-

I don't know if Ken did it, or the relative, or the burgee company, but it's as simple as possible, and unmistakedly C-Dory w/o being overly complicated.(IMHO)

What about the Tug Thugs? Kinda leaves them out!
I had thought of this and the capital letter C would also
work and be more simple. Food for thought I guess

Joe,
I like it...It appears that the design/art work has already been done for this item and I wil wait to hear from you before placing an order...I am assuming you are working up a volume rate of some sort. I will follow the thread and proceed as further info is provided.

I am good for one, maybe two...I will check with Jim (Duck) and try to get him on board too.

OK, I'll take orders!

Maybe we can get enough to get a price break, even!

If the overall investment isn't too great, I'll stock them so that we won't have to go through the bigger ordering process periodically!

Let me know if you want one/some!

Joe.

That's plagiarism or illegal - I don't want one...

Seems to me the design belongs to the group of C-Dory folks who created and supprted the C-Dog site in general, not one individual.

Anyway, I'm sure no one would object to our using it.

Many of us have been members of 3-5 C-Dory sites over the last 8 years or so.

It's great that the burgee cmpany still has the design on file and probably set up for computerized machine embroidering.

Why re-invent the wheel?

My $0.02.

My comment was simply intended to get you to be more forthcoming, Joe. You are correct that the design doesn't belong to one individual but some may rather have a design more aligned with the C-Brat motto.

I have one; lying on a shelf in the garage collecting dust.

I just don't like what one individual wants me to accept. I'd like a new design. I'm certain some of our talented C-Brats could come up with something that would not bring back ill memories.

My $0.02.

Bob-

I can see your point, but I've put all those unfortunate happenings behind me and don't worry about them or bode ill feelings for any of those involved, on either side.

For me, life is too short to carry those scars around. Time to move on.

I've been on Delta outings with Dale and a lot of others like our Delta/S.F.Bay Cruise leader Jim Gibson, since the falling out, and we all get along fine and get on with life.

Love the C-Dory, but love ALL the C-Dory Crowd just as much, if not more!

Bob...Joe... Yall be good boys now... If ya wantta get all touchy feely here... yall go buy ya pair of tickets to the ballet, ...and have a good time together... $.02

I think Ken's original burgee looks like a Cape Cruiser... :thdown ... $.02

I like the idea ...or ideas.... of the C-Brat Burgee.. :smiled :thup Nothing looks like a C-Brat logo... and no company can take us to court which seems popular now days.... and..... the Burgee could simply be a white background (colors of our hulls), and the colors of the stitches changed to match the colors of our boats..... $.02

If "enough of us" could agree on a back ground fabric color, I think I know of a small company that might make about 6 -12 at a time...but I would have to get with them and ask..... and get the C-Brat logo from Roger Johnson... which I do not see as an issue... $.02

I too have one of the original C-Dory burgee's... somewhere in one of these boxes of packed goods ..... and need to find it to put up in my nautical room that Sherryl is "letting me have input" on in our new home. $.02

Wow... spent a whole dime there...but it was a good investment I think.

Put me in for 2. Whatever design.

How about taking it to the next level and in addition to having a burgee, include a membership card also? There are many yacht clubs here in the east and elsewhere I suspect that allow facility privledges, moorings, tieups at the dock, water, etc for visiting members of other yacht clubs. It could be to our advantage if we had a membership card also. What do you think?

And for myself and other military heads.... Let's get us a C-Brat coin made up.... Now that is a coin I'd carry in my wallet....to keep down the cost of those little challenges... :beer

And... then maybe we could all get "group rate breaks" on our insurance, and form a base line value for our boats that hold their values much better than the simple industry standards the insurance crowd want to give us...

wow...too much coffee for me this morning.....

God I love this group.
