It is with great sadness that I am placing my C-dory for sale. We absolutely love the boat, but we have decided to become full time cruisers and are moving aboard a cruising catamaran and headed to the Caribbean after hurricane season.

Highlights

1998 C-Dory 22 Cruiser

Repowered with twin 50 horsepower Hondas 2017, headed in for the 20 hour service this week.

Replaced the entire original fuel system with the modern C-Dory 23 gallon translucent tanks, new Racor fuel filter water separators, new fuel lines, plumbed so either engine can draw from either tank or both. Removed tank anchors that drilled into the core and replaced with fiberglass angle and Weldmounts. No more deck penetrations!! Core was dry.

Replaced cable steering with hydraulic steering.

Two new permatrims, not mounted, couldn’t bring my self to drill through the pristine cavitation plates yet :)

Custom built dual axle aluminum trailer 2016.

All LED interior lights.

LED anchor light

DSC VHF linked to Chartplotter with NMEA 0183

Mantus 13 lb anchor

The boat is in great shape, always stored indoors since I have owned her. Washed regularly. New engines have only seen salt water one time, flushed immediately after.

Pics in my album and can send you any more you need.

I thought of a few more items that people might be interested in that the boat comes with.

Two Scotty electric Downriggers
Two Scotty rod holders
The boat has four Scotty mounts
Magma Cabo Gas grill with Scotty mount

Custom built Motion Glass opening center window

Wish you were closer your c dory would be sold.good luck with the sell

A good boat anywhere, if you are looking, is worth a good inspection, and travel is only a small piece of the puzzle. This one looks like a nice package and with new OB's, will have years of service ahead, if cared for.

Best in both of your boating futures.

Thanks for the well wishes. We hate seeing our C Dory go, but it will be worth it to live on the water full time. When we bought her we drove all the way to Ohio from Houston non stop to be back in time for work Monday. This was in February which apparently is winter up there ;) We couldn’t even test drive her because all the docks were pulled out of the water.

When I bought my boat, I had called on 4 others. The most likely one was in Florida, but I was caller number 2. That boat went to Alaska. I found mine a week later, about 5 miles from my house. I just figured that since I was willing to travel, I was rewarded by not having to.

Enjoy that live aboard cat. Sound fun.

I agree with you Harvey and I have no problem making the run down there but I have to wait until I get my 3270 Bayliner sold. It has been on the market for a week and not one hit yet , I'm pacing the floor

I have had several people requesting shots of the interior. Just uploaded quite a few to my album. I tried to get all the areas people would be interested in seeing. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

I just added a shot to my album of the new fuel tanks. They are a huge improvement over the original 18 gallon tanks. I love being able to look over my shoulder and see the fuel first hand and have the increased range.

I also wanted to put it out there that I am willing to deliver the boat or meet someone part way depending on distance. I have already resigned from my job in preparation for full time cruising, and at the moment am just waiting for the end of hurricane season, so I have the time available. I love a good road trip, and have towed this boat all over the Eastern U.S, one more voyage would be fun.
