We have been getting a few pleas for help lately from people who just got new iPads and are trying to figure out how to post pictures and messages from the things. I don't have one so I cannot help much. I still haven't figured out all the iPhone stuff and it is a lot smaller.

So if you have any questions, comments, curses, or hints about using the iPad to work with C-Brats.com, please post them in this thread. I will refer the folks who ask me for help via email or PM right here.

Thanks.

I log in and make posts from my IPAD 2. Have not tried to post pictures, but should work ok, will try it soon and let you know. I do stay logged in, which is great that I do not have re input my password.

Picture is from picassa web album from Google.

I haven't been able to post directly to the gallery here via the iPad, but send photos to Photobucket, then use the auto-link. Just as easy, unless you are intending to put more than one photo in a post.

There are some things the iPad does in an OUTSTANDING manner: marine nav apps, e-mail, and web surfing. For photo work and writing more than an occasional post, I go for my MacBook Pro. Check tides and weather - iPad. Need to post multiple images in a post - laptop. Battery life - OK, they're both pretty decent. Ordering stuff on-line: yep, both. Need to print something - laptop.

I tend to go for my MacBook more often, 'cause the Blonde generally has the iPad.

Best wishes,
Jim B.
