I get on the freeway this morning to trudge off to my dreary cubical and what do I see? Some yahoo headed north towing some big honkin boat. I about caused a multi car pile up in my effort to get up next to it to honk & wave at the Reef Madness crew as they start their northern adventure.

I'm out of here Saturday morning, for some reason I'm having trouble sleeping :) I hope to run across the Reef Madness crew up at the other end of their adventure

Amen Ken,

It's the season no matter what the weather looks like. We'll be right behind you, leaving Sunday on the 8:20 Coho to Victoria and on to launch at Telegraph Cove. Sea Pal and Kingfisher II will join us a week later.

I'm still waiting for my replacement windlass to arrive. Can't say too much positive about The Offshore Store at this point. This is the 7th week!

Hope to see many Brats on the water in the Broughton area.

Some good news on the cruising front. The new Lewmar Pro-Fish arrived today and is 75% installed.

Cast Away with Jim and Jan aboard will be joining us in the Broughtons! Jan has enthusiasm that is contagious! We're looking forward to many weeks together coming up.

All the best,
Roger

super, I know what you did today, from cussing a lack of windlass to 75% installed, that's a fine day. It looks like the weather is turning more summerish fer ya...have a fun trip.

I spent a chunk of the day making a proper log book and filling in the tide and current predictions

I wonder if the Reef Madness folks got launched...they where putting along about 60 mph, enjoying our rut filled freeways when I passed them
