Who has their burgees flying? feel bad for forgetting mine last weekend in the SJ's. We will have it up August 8-11th when we visit Sucia, West Beach, Jones, and FH again.

i don't have a Pic of mine right now (i'm at work) but Rick gave me one during shrimp season and we have it on a 6" mount off the rocket launcher port side. do people take these on and off? i put mine up and have just left it up there.

I cut a length of old broom handle and attached the burgee to that using shower curtain rings. Put some plumbers pipe insulation on the bottom of the pole (so that it is snug) and it sits in one of the rocket launchers on my radar arch. I always take it down when the boat is not in use. Will last a lifetime doing that.

I fly mine and it's included in the sale price of Minnie that I just posted yesterday. I use a compact, expanding umbrella cover to protect it on the mast when not in use. Also quiets it for better sleeping when it's breezy. Sorry, no pictures.

Funny you mention that. i have had to take my fishing rods out of the rocket launchers when sleeping at night because they sure make a lot of noise when the wind comes through (mostly flashers).
