C-Brat Burgee Order

OK, folks - no more need to toss your names in the hat.

See the first post in this thread for an update, including ordering instructions. If your name is already on the list, you can follow the instructions there, or wait for an email to arrive. Doesn't matter which, the instructions will be the same.

Deadline for ordering is Friday, December 20.

They look wonderful, can't wait to fly one! Mary has processed our payment via PayPal. Thank you for all of your hard work on this!!

Done and paid. Thanks Bill for all your work. I think I'm going to need a mast to fly all these things. At the moment I'm hoisting the Canadian Flag, Yacht Club Burgee, Cocktail Burgee, and now a C-Brat Burgee!

An update:

We've had a pretty decent response. In just a couple days, I've gotten payment for 85 of the ~120 commitments.

As such, since a 50% deposit is necessary to get the ball rolling on the bulk order - I paid that yesterday with funds from everyone's payments for a tentative order of 100 burgees. All this does is get us in the queue; it will be 4-5 weeks once production starts, and that won't be until after Christmas.

If I waited until the cutoff date of 12/20, the delay might have been significant - this is one of the busiest times of year, and anyone getting in line ahead of us would have pushed production out even further. The deadline for anyone wanting a burgee and ordering is still 12/20 - but I'll take a tally at that time for a final order number, upping our deposit as necessary.

Also - the major portion of the burgee cost, is in the manufacture of the patch including the wave, sun and C-Dory. We're getting quite the deal on this patch for this order - future orders will likely see quite a bump in price. So, if we want to stock up on them now - we should order them now.

Extra patches can be retained for future burgee production, in which case I'll chat with Mike about getting some stock. However, they are pretty dang cool in their own right - some of you may want them for sewing onto duffle bags, jackets or whatever - but they're probably too big for hats. I'll have to verify with the vendor, but I think cost for the patches would be no more than $10 each if ordered with the burgee - and they'll fit in the same envelope, so no additional shipping charge. If anyone is interested in this option, let me know and I'll start taking a tally. If there's sufficient interest, I'll put up another order link for the patches.

The patch measurements:

Circle: 6.5" diameter
Wave, tip-to-tip 9.0"
Overall height: 6.0"

For scale - below is a pic of the patch/burgee on the back of a men's large jacket.

Charlie!

You did what??? Another CD-22? :D :D

Glad to see you're back on the water. It looks like your sea legs will be happy again.

Now, what kind of projects are on the boards after you christen the 'new' CD22 with the new burgee?
Why not add one for each CD you have owned over the years and then fly all of them at 'full dress'?
