I am sure many of us have our places where we buy boat stuff on the Internet. I have tried a few, often with reasonable results. But one of the challenges I find in ordering online is that there is little opportunity to ask questions or get advice about the product I am buying.
Recently, I had some stuff to be ordered, so I made an order with our very own Captain Matt, who has decades of experience on the water - and with boats exponentially larger than ours (which, it occurs to me, they probably don’t call 'boats'...). Anyway, Matt was extremely helpful, and was very patient with all of my questions, freely offering up advice and suggestions. And since he is also a TomCat owner, we could talk about things in the context of my particular boat, which I also found helpful. And his prices are great.
I really appreciate good customer service, but it is so rare nowadays. And when I do stumble upon some, I make it a point to tell others.
Matt, I hope I didn’t embarrass you. (He didn’t know I was going to do this)
