Has anyone ordered anything from Gear4boating.com or gear4rving.com, I believe they are the same company.

I placed an online order around 6/27-28, my cc was billed on 7/6 and still have not received my order...they say 10 business days.

I am crossing my fingers and hoping that I didn't get burnt.
 
It doesn't look good. Here is one complaint found by googling the site name. I'd call my credit card company and get the charge reversed if it were me.

The Better Business Bureau notes :
The Bureau has requested basic information from this company. The company has declined to provide this information.

No complaints filed with BBB how ever, so they may be legit.
 
I read the link that Sneaks posted and the article reference RVaddons.com..so I searched them on the BBB site and they have had 5 complaints in the last 36 month period. None of the 5 complaints were resolved--all no response from the company.

Long and short of it. I called my cc company and they credited my card...and are disputing the charge with the merchants bank...

Looking at the time line it does not look that bad. Your credit card was charged a little over a month after the order. If they were going to burn you, the cc would have been charger right after the order.

Assuming they shipped the order after you was charged, then that could have been the 9th of July. The 7th & 8th was a weekend. 10 days from the 9th (not counting weekends) would be the 20th. If you don’t have it by Monday, then I would call the company.

I fat-fingered my original post...I have edited it. I guess the end parenthesis created a smiley face...anyways...

I ordered the travasak on 6/27 or 6/28. I know it was the week prior to July 4th. I never got a confirmation when order was placed (that raised questions)..So I waited...still never recieved an email confirming that I placed the order. I was even wondering if the order went through. So, I waited. Checked my cc statement online and saw that it was charged on 7/6. So I waited for shipment. No product. It is now 14 business days and the only correspondence is that my cc was charged. On Monday I called--had to leave a message---and then I sent a request for status via email. No response. So, I called again today...and get the answering machine again. Seems like I am being suckered now. So I post this to see if anyone has had any dealings with these companies. Now I see that I am not alone.
 
I bought a Travasak from RVUpgradeStore.com earlier this year. No problemo! Just passing that data point on... :smile
